Field usability
Responsive workflows and PWA behavior beyond the desktop.
A responsive information system combining agricultural data, plant-protection product-use records, geospatial verification and government integrations, usable at a desk and on a parcel.
THE CONTEXT
Professional users record regulated product use against agricultural holdings and parcels. The system must connect identity, authorizations, products, locations and authoritative registers while remaining practical for mobile field use.
LUCIS CONTRIBUTION
Lucis is responsible for the responsive web and PWA application, backend and data architecture, geospatial verification, government integrations and deployment design. Authorities own the regulatory framework and source registers.
Responsive workflows and PWA behavior beyond the desktop.
A record tied to an authoritative location and parcel.
External operational use and internal control over a shared data layer.
HOW IT FITS TOGETHER
User and holding
Parcel and spatial context

Official workflow
TWO USER CONTEXTS
External field users work through a responsive PWA with SI-PASS authentication, built for practical use away from a desk. Internal administration users work inside a separately controlled environment for review and oversight. Both rely on the same carefully governed data, reached through separated technical access paths.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
A regulatory system for plant-protection product use must be accurate enough for official records but practical enough to use during real field work.

THE RESPONSIBILITY
Field usability and official data quality have to coexist in the same system.← All GeoSystems projects
